A mining company is sued for breach of contract by a trading company over non-acceptance of pricing terms. A consumer of fabricated metal is sued by the fabricator for default over a “take-or-pay” clause. Either case could bring punishing financial consequences and risk each firms’ reputations in the wider market. In such circumstances companies often seek outside expertise, with experience across commodity markets and known in the industry, to provide assistance. In such cases we are retained to:
